| About Eve's Place |
 |
| Eve's Place is a non-profit agency that serves victims of domestic violence in Surprise, Arizona and the surrounding communities.
Eve's Place filed its Articles of Incorporation with the Arizona Corporation Commission in March 2004. After developing an initial plan for growth, finding an office, beginning support groups and expanding the number of board members, the agency acquired 501(c)3 non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service in January 2005.
Since that time Eve's Place obtained a Business and Professional License from the City of Surprise and has been growing ever since.
The end of 2005 saw an exciting opportunity to obtain a
residence to fill the need for a crisis shelter in our area-so
we jumped at the chance. Since we opened our doors,
the Safe House has provided over 3,000 bednights of safety
to women and children. |
